Oh my!

There has been a lotta stuff happening since my last journal entry. I found myself in a university of applied sciences for one. Yes, even a person like me who cant draw better than the stuff you an find in my gallery can actually pass the entrance exam of a school that trains graphic designers. Encroyable, n'est ce-pas?

I have a pretty good feel of how hard my studies are going to be. And yes, it means that I have little time to make art for my own amusement. But fear not for I shall use the little free time I have left to make something for dev, unless I find the time and willpower to make a webcomic of my own. I have to. I will go crazy unless I can vent my academical frustrations through my artwork.


There is a thing that has been buggin me for a while:

Boobies.

Now I have noticed that the most popular works of mine here were either Fan Art or contained sexual themes.(Or both.) Now let me make one thing clear: I started drawing with a purpose in mind: To create a type of content of my own

A combination of drawing and storytelling techniques inherent to graphic novels. Sounds cheesy I know. With that in mind, I would be a fool if I ignored fancervice as a type of content (and I'm referring to the erotic type of fancervice). It's something that is relative to the interests of a lot of people.

I'm a bit reluctant to use it. At first because I found it to be a bit too easy way to move people (I have discovered that it isn't easy at all to do it well). Secondly I wanted my drawings to look good in other ways like those action scenes that make you want to jump around or art just so beautiful that makes you cry or detailed backrounds that show you worlds with unimaginable scenery.

Now these content types are not mutually exclusive. And I think that ability of creting simultaniously multiple content types is a valuable strenght for me and any artist for that matter. And now I'm asking you who for whatever reason is reading this entry:
